WPR has an entire team dedicated to delivering community affairs work for clients – clients such as Homes and Communities Agency and Laing O’Rourke.

We help these companies, and others like them, through the planning process.  We identify the people that matter most, locally, and we ensure that the community is engaged with – properly and effectively.

We understand the localism agenda and its impact on business.  We understand the complex planning process and we understand just how challenging community affairs can be. We also know how vital it is to get community relations right.

So, from managing first stage political briefings through to Statements of Community Involvement  – and from build starts through to development launches, WPR has experience in every stage of the community relations journey, for every type of client. We have the contacts too.

As a result, we have helped to deliver shopping centres, villages, superstores and convenience stores.  We have worked on much needed restorations and most controversial redevelopments.  We have stood in front of irate independent traders and negotiated with neighbourhood representatives.  We have also collected gold awards for our work and received praise from planners.

We work at the tough end of communications, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
