Hydor: Putting a Stop to Bovine Pneumonia

The Challenge

To help Hydor promote the benefits of its tube ventilation system to dairy farmers ravaged by the impact of bovine pneumonia on calves.

 

The Idea

Our plan was to use an issues-based, rather than product-focused, approach that highlighted the problem of bovine pneumonia on social media channels used most frequently by dairy farmers in frequent use by dairy farmers, namely YouTube and Facebook.

 

A video fronted by a dairy farmer in Cheshire sat at the heart of the campaign, and was promoted via Facebook and YouTube, before the campaign’s engaged audience was encouraged to request a quote for their own ventilation system.

The Results

  • We delivered 11,490 YouTube video views and 62,071 Facebook video views
  • That drove 6,846 landing page visits
  • With 1,520 Facebook engagements, including 554 reactions
  • Generating a total of 104 sales leads, many of which are in negotiations over the purchase of a new system
