PR Manager (B2C)

We’re looking for a superstar PR manager to work across some of our biggest consumer accounts, spanning retail, leisure and not-for-profit. You’ll be used to generating national coverage on a daily basis, have an exceptional network of journalist contacts and know what the media is looking for from a brand or campaign right now by keeping abreast of trends. You’ll thrive on working in a fast-paced environment, able to think creatively and advise clients all while organising and mentoring a talented team. An ability to write client-ready copy and create insightful review documents all goes without saying; however, most important is a passion for PR, a curiosity to find fresh ideas and a hunger for results. .

Job Description

  • Servicing a roster of high profile accounts, supporting account directors to maximise team output and efficiency
  • Liaising with clients, acting as an extension of their team and nurturing a strong, professional relationship, built on trust
  • Drafting a variety of copy, from press releases to blogs and email copy, as well as copy checking documents accurately
  • Developing relationships with key influencers to secure client coverage
  • Selling-in client stories to national and regional journalists to deliver hard-hitting campaigns
  • Helping to create valuable, relevant and consistent content for clients, which helps to attract and retain a clearly defined audience
  • Identifying news hooks and reactive opportunities for all clients
  • Supporting on new business pitches, helping with research and providing valuable insight to the team for new campaigns
  • Assisting with event organisation and management

Key Competencies


  • Educated to degree standard (essential)
  • Will ideally hold a full, clean driving licence

Experience and Knowledge

  • Two years minimum experience, ideally in agency

  • Salary:  competitive, dependent on experience
  • 20 days holiday + additional 3 days between Christmas and new year. Additional day’s holiday for every year of service, up to 25 days
