Shortlisted for Creativity and Storytelling
Birmingham PR agency WPR has been shortlisted for two Midlands Marketing Awards – best B2B creativity and best storytelling.
In the best B2B creativity category, the agency’s high-impact launch of the Holcim brand in the UK has been shortlisted. Ensuring the launch marked a new chapter for both the company and the UK construction industry, WPR’s Making Sustainable Construction A Reality campaign showed how B2B PR can use attention-grabbing, creative tactics alongside robust, authoritative content to deliver exceptional results.
WPR’s long-term relationship with Care UK has received recognition in the best storytelling category. The consumer PR campaign Fulfilling Lives was designed to shatter misconceptions about care home life, putting inspiring tales of care home residents at the heart of the story, while also communicating the brand’s deep expertise in caring for older people.
Jane Ainsworth, managing director, said: “Creativity and storytelling are so integral to what we do that being shortlisted for these awards is especially rewarding.
“Our job is to really understand the challenges our clients face, uncovering valuable insight about their audiences and the markets they operate in, and then blend that insight with imagination and the sort of creative thinking that surprises, excites and educates to deliver real-world action.
“The Midlands Marketing Awards are a showcase for the fabulous marketing work going on around the region and we’re looking forward to celebrating the breadth and diversity of that work later in the year.”
In 2024, the Midlands Marketing Awards named Jane marketing leader of the year and WPR won best consumer relations campaign for its Outjoyment campaign with the Camping and Caravanning Club.
