WPR Achieves Four Stars in PRWeek Transparency Report

WPR has once again been recognised as one of the UK’s most transparent agencies, after being named among just 28 of the Top 150 PR agencies to achieve the highest rating in PRWeek’s Transparency Report.

The annual report, in which WPR also secured four stars last year, highlights agencies that openly disclose key employment information such as parental leave, Living Wage accreditation, and gender and ethnicity pay gap data.

Rebecca Williams, director of people and planning, said: “We know that as employers we are, quite rightly, judged not just by what we say but by the evidence of what we actually do. Transparency has a big role to play in this because it is about building trust and demonstrating that we live by the values we promote.

“PRWeek’s focus on these metrics are indicative of a broader industry shift towards measurable accountability rather than reputation-based claims and that can only be a good thing. It’s our belief that accountability, openness and continuous improvement are fundamental to building a great agency – and industry – culture.”

The recognition reflects WPR’s ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where people thrive professionally and personally, underpinned by a B Corp ethos that believes in the power of business to be a force for good and ambitious ESG commitments.

In recent weeks, WPR has also become one of the founding businesses of the We Show the Salary B Corps Collective. This group of B Corps is supporting the wider We Show the Salary campaign for social change on salary transparency on UK job ads, to create fairer, more inclusive and accessible recruitment processes and to help level the playing field on pay gaps.
