WPR MD Named in PRWeek UK Power Book 2021

WPR’s managing director, Jane Ainsworth, has been named among other industry leaders in the PRWeek UK Power Book 2021.

An extensive list of the most influential and respected communications professionals in the UK today, the Power Book includes a Q&A with all entrants, discussing learnings from 2020 and the Covid-19 media landscape.

When discussing the year, Jane said that the industry will continue to face challenges posed by Covid-19, turning the way we work on its head.

“Our past problems will become our opportunities, and what were previously our opportunities will become our problems,” she said.

“We will need to think ever more creatively and must not allow a race to the bottom.”

The announcement comes after a year of challenges and triumphs for her award-winning agency, which has a multi-sector B2B and B2C client portfolio with services including PR, social and media planning and buying activity.

Jane added: “I am flattered to be named alongside some incredible industry leaders in this year’s PRWeek Power Book. It has been a challenging year for the whole industry, so to be recognised as a leader during this uncertain period is an honour. I am very grateful to everyone at WPR, whose brilliant work makes us the strong agency that has been able to lead throughout this time.”

Jane is managing director of WPR. She has over 20 years’ experience in developing and delivering communications strategies for consumer brands including Dunelm, Tesco, Mothercare, Greene King, John Lewis, Bullring, Beaverbrooks and Westfield.
