WPR Wins PRWeek People and Places Award
PRWeek has named WPR best mid-size consultancy at the UK People and Places Awards 2026.
The awards celebrate the outstanding leaders, teams and workplaces shaping the future of communications across the UK.
Managing director Jane Ainsworth said: “The judges noted that our approach goes well beyond simple box-ticking and demonstrates a meaningful commitment to our people and we are so proud that they recognised this.
“One of the many advantages of being an independent agency is having the autonomy to prioritise what matters to us as a team. We genuinely care that everyone working at WPR – from the newest recruit to our most experienced colleagues – is able to flourish professionally and personally.”
The judges also praised WPR for its “sociable, community-minded environment, with opportunities for volunteering and shared activities that strengthen connection and belonging.”
Congratulations also go to PR and content manager Jack Blenkiron who was nominated for the industry newcomer award – a huge achievement and testament to the impressive impact he has made in the three years he has been working in the sector.
This award follows another recent win for the PR agency which recognised its commitment to creating an environment where people thrive; earlier this spring, the industry body PRCA named WPR a workplace champion for 2026.
