Our Work

Pigs Really Can Fly

Peppa Pig Space Adventure

64 pieces of coverage

15 national hits

The Challenge

To drive awareness, consideration and ticket sales for the new Peppa Pig Space Adventure at the NEC.

We were specifically asked to drive audience engagement and traffic to the site over the summer period, devising creative ways to sustain momentum and generate coverage beyond what’s on guides.

The Idea

We first looked at GWI data to understand the media consumption habits of our target audience, which revealed that busy, social-first parents over indexed on short-form video content consumption, digital news and peer-led endorsement.

So, to capture their attention, we needed a hook that would go beyond traditional media spaces and into publisher and consumer social feeds, as well as creating ‘viewing moments’ for young fans.

In keeping with the space exploration theme, we set out to show that pigs really can fly, launching Peppa Pig over 100,000 feet above the earth for an out-of-this-world adventure.

We held a launch event at the NEC so that young explorers could follow Peppa’s mission, and created a once in a lifetime opportunity to design Peppa’s next rocket.
