The Challenge
In today’s evolving risk landscape, data is more important than ever to better understand threats and develop robust strategies to keep people safe.
When Lloyd’s Register Foundation, the independent global safety charity, launched its Global Safety and Evidence Centre, it asked us to raise awareness of the Centre’s mission and drive engagement with key stakeholders across risk-exposed industries worldwide.
The Idea
We marked the launch of the new global hub for data, research and insight with a PR strategy centred on the findings of the Centre’s first three reports.
Central to the strategy was our understanding — validated by the Centre’s own data — that the safety and health field is heavily fragmented and priority sectors faced distinct risks, ranging from climate-related threats in mining and energy, to worker safety in fishing, construction and manufacturing, and the impact of emerging technologies on occupational safety. A blanket approach to stakeholder engagement simply wouldn’t land with impact.
Armed with these insights, we devised a cross-industry earned media approach, developing bespoke content for audiences across priority sectors. Through punchy news releases, opinion and insight-based feature content, we spotlighted critical safety challenges, positioning the Centre at the forefront of efforts to close evidence gaps and improve real-world safety outcomes.
