WPR Wins Two PRCA Dare Awards
At the PRCA Dare Awards 2026, WPR won event/launch of the year and took home the team culture and community award.
In the event/launch of the year category, the winning work was the attention-grabbing unveiling of the DreamToys list for the Toy Retailers Association. The reimagined launch was part of a strategic three-phase campaign which not only delivered significant coverage but an uplift in sales for all the featured toys in the crucial festive trading period.
The team culture and community award recognises agencies, or in-house teams, that go above and beyond for their people and the communities to which they belong, while trying to make a positive difference.
Jane Ainsworth, managing director, said: “These awards reflect two of the things that matter most to us. One recognises the creativity, strategic thinking and results-driven work our team delivers for clients, while the other celebrates the culture we’ve built and our commitment to supporting our people, our industry and the wider community.
“For us, those things go hand-in-hand. The best work happens when talented people have opportunities to grow personally and professionally, to feel valued and to be part of something with a wider purpose. We’re very proud to see both these aspects of our agency life recognised in this way.”
This year saw the PRCA combine the Midlands and North regions for the first time, creating a large catchment encompassing many of the most exciting and talented agencies in the UK.
The wins are the latest in an award-winning year for the Birmingham-based PR agency, following success at the CIPR Midlands Awards where it won six awards and the PRWeek People & Places Awards, where WPR was named best mid-sized agency.
