WPR Wins Eight Dare Awards

By WPR on 28th June 2022

At a brilliant awards evening held in Birmingham on Monday 27 June, PR and social agency WPR took home an incredible eight PRCA Dare Awards.

With wins for the agency’s B2B, consumer PR and social media specialisms, WPR’s successful campaigns include a quirky hunt for an official ‘mansion tester’, which went viral globally, scooping the Low Budget award, and the results-focused ‘recruiting trades’ campaign for Checkatrade, which picked up both the Digital and Social Media award and the award for Best Use of Data and Analytics.

Taking the top spot in the Integrated category was WPR’s work to connect industry leader REHAU with consumers, while an innovative campaign to demonstrate Aggreko’s commitment to the construction industry’s move towards net zero won the B2B award.

In the team and individual categories, WPR’s managing director Jane Ainsworth was named Professional of the Year. The agency also won the Team Culture and Community award, which recognises agencies or in-house teams that are doing more to serve their people and society and that are trying to make a difference. Rounding off an amazing night, WPR was named Large Consultancy of the Year.

Jane Ainsworth said: “It was fantastic to be back at a physical awards ceremony celebrating with our team and industry colleagues, and winning an unbelievable eight awards certainly made it a night to remember.

“In the year that WPR has turned 30 and I mark 25 years since I joined the agency, being named Professional of the Year is a very special accolade. Far from looking back, we’ve been looking forward and thinking about how we can do more for our planet, people, community, society and future. By launching our 30 Positive Impacts at 30 initiative, we’ve focused on the sort of business we want to be, so to win both the Team Culture and Community award and Large of Agency of the Year is truly rewarding.”
