WPR One of the UK’s Most Transparent Agencies

PRWeek has revealed that WPR is one of just 25 agencies in its top 150 UK PR agencies to be transparent across four key areas of employment policy.

In its new Transparency Report, PRWeek has compiled data highlighting those agencies which disclose their parental leave policies, whether they are an accredited Living Wage employer, and their gender and ethnicity pay gaps.

The report shows that only 25 agencies have received four stars, meaning they divulge information for each of these areas.

Rebecca Williams, director of people and planning, said: “We think that transparency and accountability go hand in hand.  To create an environment where our team can thrive personally and professionally, we need to consider every aspect of our role as an employer.

“So, whether we’re looking at salaries and other financial benefits, assessing how our policies can better support work life balance, or taking steps to ensure our agency is both representative of and championing people from all sections of society, we’re committed to being open about where we are now and where we want to be in the future.”

As well as being an accredited Living Wage employer, WPR is an accredited We Show the Salary employer, bucking a trend – also revealed by PRWeek – which suggests just one in four PR firms includes salaries on job ads.

The Birmingham PR agency became a certified B Corporation™ in 2024 and consistently ranks highly in the annual rankings of the best companies to work for in the UK.
