PRWeek People and Places Shortlists WPR

The PRWeek People and Places shortlist for 2026 has been announced and WPR is in the running for the gold mid-size agency award.

These prestigious PRWeek awards recognise companies creating environments where talent thrives. The judging process includes assessment of everything from culture, wellbeing and mental health to DEI and career development, plus an anonymous team survey.

Also making the shortlist of the ‘people stars list’ – which celebrates the brightest and most innovative minds in PR – is Jack Blenkiron, PR and content manager, who has been named in the industry newcomers category.

Jack first impressed the WPR team when he joined the agency for a NextGen internship during his university degree. He developed a passion for B2B PR and joined the team permanently when he graduated.

Since then he has flown up the ranks, securing three promotions, and is now coaching budding B2B professionals, giving back to the internship programme that brought him into the industry.

Jane Ainsworth, managing director, said: “Our agency is built around the concept of rewarding brilliance with brilliance. Attracting and retaining the best and the brightest in the business means creating a working environment where people flourish, where they get amazing opportunities to work with ambitious brands, and where they have the support and guidance to fulfil their potential.

“Jack is a great example of that in action. He has seized every opportunity since he first set foot in the door. His tenacity and proactive approach means that, even at a relatively early stage of his career, he has become both a trusted advisor for clients and a valuable mentor for those following in his footsteps.”

The PRWeek People and Places winners will be announced in May.
