Birmingham PR Agency Enhances Google Partner Status

Edgbaston PR and social media firm, WPR, has enhanced its paid search capabilities with a trio of appointments.

Emma Nicholls joins as paid director, Joe Bennett as paid manager and Josh Houghton as search marketing manager. The trio of appointments comes in response to continued growth and rising demand for paid search services.

Emma joins WPR having risen from digital account co-ordinator at SMRS Ltd to senior digital media manager at Universal McCann, McCann Erickson in just six years. Emma’s certification in both Google Fundamentals and Google Search Advertising will allow the agency to ensure that clients’ accounts deliver the best possible results with optimised online advertising.

With previous experience as a PPC specialist at Packt Publishing, Joe brings with him a wealth of paid digital marketing experience. He is Google certified in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing and has a proven track record of delivering a positive return on investment for clients in the technology and e-commerce sectors.

Josh has been Google certified in PPC for three years and has experience ranging from search optimisation to YouTube video ads. His extensive search experience will be deployed within WPR to provide complementary PPC and SEO strategies that drive business value conversions.

On the recent appointments, Jane Ainsworth, managing director at WPR, said: “As the lines between organic and paid begin to blur, making an impact online is becoming increasingly difficult but evermore important for clients. As a Google Partner agency, we are well placed to deploy targeted campaigns using industry data, research insights and exclusive beta products to maximise the performance of our clients’ projects.”

Speaking about her new position at WPR, Emma said: “I was eager to work with an agency that sees the value that search can bring to a client’s campaign. As a respected UK agency, with more than 80 industry accolades to its name, the choice to join WPR was a simple one. I am looking forward to working with the team and making my mark.”
