Vacancy

Position

Senior Social Media Manager/Director

We are looking for a creative, results-driven social media professional, who shares our values and wants to join an agency where they can build a long-standing career.

You’ll be given the opportunity to lead the social accounts for household names, producing industry-leading content which will entertain consumers, deliver a return for brands, and delight your clients.

In your current role, you’ll be used to directing social media shoots and working closely with content creators, photographers and videographers to produce engaging, high-quality social media content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. Staying abreast of the latest platform features, trends, content formats and updates will be essential, as well as the ability to incorporate these into ongoing content strategies.

A client-first attitude is essential; you’ll understand what makes people tick, and will be skilled in winning contacts over, providing consultancy, driving progress and – above all – delighting them with the results you deliver. Your people skills will extend to your team, who look to you for guidance and coaching.

Pitching, proposal writing, producing strategies and review documents all go without saying, as does having an eye for social copy. Most important, however, is a passion for social media, a curiosity to find fresh ideas and a hunger for results.

If this sounds like you, please send your CV to joinus@wpragency.co.uk.  For further information, call 0121 456 3004 and ask for Mel Palmer.

We are passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Our aim is for our team to be representative of society, and we are committed to building a workforce that reflects the clients and communities we serve. We have set a target for the make-up of our team to be reflective of the West Midlands community by 2028. It’s an ambitious commitment – but one we are determined to achieve.

Start date: ASAP

Salary bracket: Senior Manager from £38,000. Director from £45,000.
