WPR Named One of UK’s Most Award-Winning Agencies

WPR has been named one of the top 60 award-winning agencies in PR Week’s inaugural ‘premier league table’ for all PR industry awards.

In the first league table of its kind, PR Week has tracked industry award schemes and then ranked agencies by cumulative score for award wins over a three-year period.

Coming in at #60, having won 20 awards from 2020-2022, WPR is one of only three UK-based agencies in the top 60 without a London presence.

Jane Ainsworth, WPR’s managing director, said: “Winning awards is never just about collecting silverware. It’s about demonstrating the results we deliver and the innovative, creative quality of our work across specialisms ranging from consumer relations and B2B PR to social media.

“To see how highly we’ve ranked against so many PR industry titans we respect and admire is testament to the brilliance of our team. I’m incredibly proud of them and it’s a lovely way to round off an award-winning year.”

To compile the league table, PR Week considered 19 different PR award schemes and took 2020-2022 results data, where available. PR Week assigned these award schemes to one of three tiers and awards within those schemes were scored depending on if they were grand prix or agency of the year categories, a winner or highly commended.

Launched this year, PR Week will now monitor wins across the industry’s main award schemes to create a biannual league table.
