WPR Celebrates Seven Dare Award Nominations

2019 is shaping up to be a positive year for WPR, with the PR, social and search agency being shortlisted for seven Dare awards.

The multi award-winning agency has been nominated in several prestigious categories, including five with Greene King for ‘Campaign Challenges’, ‘Integrated Campaign of the Year’, ‘Media Relations’, ‘Low Budget’ and ‘Best Event, Launch or Stunt’.

WPR is looking to build upon its success in 2018, which saw it take home five separate awards, making the agency the big winners of the night.

The agency has also been nominated for the highly sought-after ‘Trade and B2B Campaign of the Year’ for its work with REHAU on the ‘Build Your Legacy’ campaign. The campaign was devised to encourage mechanical and electrical contractors to create their own legacy by considering how the materials they use today will affect a building’s performance in the future.

Jane Ainsworth, managing director of WPR, said: “As winners of 88 industry awards over the last decade, we know what it takes to create unique, high-impact campaigns which deliver tangible results for our clients. Our ‘Cows in Quilts’ campaign for Hungry Horse is just one example of how we create and develop ideas that capture the imagination and get people talking.

“With seven nominations, we have demonstrated that we can deliver real results for our clients. We are proud of the work we do and, whatever the results on the night, we will continue working tirelessly to uphold our reputation as an agency that can provide high-impact B2B work and award-winning consumer campaigns.”

Run by industry body the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), the Dare awards celebrate individuals, companies and campaigns across 15 different categories.
