WPR Collects Three PRide Awards

WPR is celebrating after collecting three awards at the CIPR PRide Awards 2022.

In the corporate and business communications category, WPR’s innovative campaign demonstrating Aggreko’s commitment to the construction industry’s net zero goals won the silver award.

An engaging and effective campaign which encouraged customers to enjoy ‘breakfast inn bed’, exceeded coverage targets and drove footfall to Hungry Horse pubs, won silver in the consumer relations category.

Rounding off the evening, WPR was also named silver PR consultancy of the year.

Jane Ainsworth, managing director, said: “We’re having a great year at WPR. As well as turning 30, we’ve welcomed brilliant new team members, grown the business, and delivered impactful campaigns for clients we love working with.

“It’s testament to the amazing team effort of everyone at WPR that we’ve not only won campaign awards for both our B2B and consumer PR work, but have also received recognition for the whole agency.

“We’ve used our milestone anniversary to make some significant changes at WPR, launching our 30 positive impacts at 30 initiative and we’re excited about our commitment to a sustainable and regenerative future.”

In summary, WPR won:

  • Corporate and business communications (silver award) – Greener Upgrades in Construction (Aggreko)
  • Consumer relations (silver award) – Breakfast Inn Bed (Hungry Horse)
  • PR consultancy of the year (silver award) – WPR
