Chef & Brewer: Let’s Get Fizzical

The Challenge

To introduce new consumers to the Chef & Brewer brand.

 

The Idea

With sales of Prosecco soaring in the UK, we saw an opportunity for Chef & Brewer to ride the crest of a wave. We announced a search for the UK’s first Fizzician – someone who would select and approve sparkling wines to be served at more than 130 pubs nationwide. This was supplemented with an online quiz in which players could find out if they were sofizzticated, fizzically fit or just a bit flat.

 

The Results

  • We delivered 38 pieces of campaign coverage, with national hits in the Metro and Express
  • More than 500 people applied to be our Fizzician and 3,388 played our fizz quiz, with 65% of those opting in to receive future emails from the brand
  • The average engagement rate across Facebook campaign content ran at 7.4%
  • Above all, sales of fizz increased by 8.7% during the Fizztival
