2013 and WPR won a highly coveted contract to promote Bosch Lawn and Garden, Bosch Power Tools, Bosch Measuring Tools and Dremel to UK customers. Briefed to amplify the brands’ overarching messaging, ‘Make it Your Home’, product placement had to be at the heart of everything we did.

With Bosch delivering predominantly innovative and premium-priced products, getting journalists to try the lawnmowers, drills, pressure washers and 3D printers was vital.  We needed leading influencers to show their readers the ‘Bosch difference’, buy into the brand and understand the exceptional quality that comes with the Bosch product range.

Within the first 12 months of working with each of the four divisions, we had delivered over 300 press hits, with TV exposure including the News at Six, Gadget Man and BBC1 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.  High profile print coverage included The Times, Telegraph, Mirror and Daily Mail and all important niche media hits ranged from T3 to Gadget Magazine; Auto Express to The Sunday Times Driving segment. Coverage in the home interest titles also exceeded expectations with regular recommendations in the likes of Ideal Home, Gardener’s World and Build It.

Crucially, coverage included over 30 press reviews with 100% of our all-important influencers praising the products on their popular pages.  Power-ful results indeed.
